Nichols, Darrell Travis

Darrell Travis Nichols, 32, of Troutville, went home to be with the Lord, Saturday, November 14, 2009. He was a graduate of Lord Botetourt High School and the Jefferson College of Health Science. He was employed by Carrington Place at Wytheville as an Occupational Therapy Assistant. He enjoyed singing, and shopping for "treasures" at yard sales and flea markets. He attended Dale Ridge Church of Christ. Surviving are his father and mother, Cecil and Beverly Godsey Nichols of Troutville; brother, Joe Nichols and wife Nicole of Cookeville, Tenn.; sister, Amanda Nichols of Boston, Mass.; grandparents, Arthur and Lilly Godsey of Roanoke; and numerous aunts; uncles; nieces; nephews; and cousins. The family requests that memorials be made to Dale Ridge Church of Christ 7165 Cloverdale Road Roanoke, Virginia 24019. A memorial service will be conducted 7 p.m. Tuesday, November 17, 2009 at Dale Ridge Church of Christ (beside the Botetourt Athletic Club) by Michael Carter, minister.
